من يجد في نفسه الكفاءه لحل الامتحان يتفضل ولكن رجاء ان يقوم بالحل في ملف ويرفقه حتى تعم الفائده للجميع

  1. If we have this loads


  1. 4 lamp each one 15 watt
  2. 3 fan each one 40 watt
  3. 1 TV 80 watt
  4. 1 refrigerator 120 watt
  5. 1 p.c 210 watt

And the lamps will work 3 hours, the fans 6 hours, the TV and p.c 4 hours.
Calculate the following:


  1. A.C average daily energy.
  2. D.C energy.
  3. If we will use inverter 1 Kw and 48 volt calculate the ampere hour.
  4. If we will use a module 100 watt and it’s voltage 16 . 17 volt calculate the number of the module for each string .
  5. Draw design of the system.



  1. Calculate the fill factor for asolar cell which has the following parameters:

Voc = 0.2 volt
I s.c = 5.5 mA
Vmax = 0.125v
Imax = 3mA


  1. Calculate the maximum and cell efficiency of the cell at an intensity of 200 w/m2 given that Vo.c = 0.24 volt and Is.c = 9mA,

Vmax = 0.14 volt, Imax = 6mA and the area = 4cm2 .


  1. Calculate the power output from asolar cell under standard test conditions when efficiency = 16% and filling factor = 0.782

And the aperture area = 4.02*104m2


  1. Draw the simple single line diagram of pv system in case of :

a) on grid
b) off grid


  1. Draw the p.v and the i.v curve of the module.
