WaterCAD includes a variety of new and enhanced features, including:
• Detailed Profile Plots—View a graphical cross-section of your water distribution
network using the new detailed profile plot. Display and animate a plan view that
includes ground elevation, structures, hydraulic and energy grade lines. Keep
track of your detailed profiles using the Profile Manager.
• HAMMER Integration—Seamlessly enter HAMMER input data in your
WaterCAD model, then automatically export to HAMMER, perform transient
analysis, and import the results back into your model.
• Customizable Reports—Add custom text and personalize the look of your
preformatted reports through the use of new editable headers and footers.
• Microsoft Excel Demand Management—Edit and manage demand and pattern
data directly from within the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet environment and
synchronize the results with your WaterCAD models.
• TRex for AutoCAD—Automatically extract elevation data from AutoCAD
points, polylines, 3Dpolylines, and surface TINs and assign it to your model
nodes.
• Export Contours to Shapefile Format—Export contour plots calculated from
your WaterCAD model to shapefile or DXF format.
• Extended Drawing Review Functionality—Troubleshoot your model by finding
and resolving design problems. WaterCAD can now uncover dead-end nodes and
duplicate pipes in your network. You can also remove specific elements from the
list, enabling the tool to work with you to differentiate between network flaws and
intended layout decisions.
• Drawing View Bookmarks—Create bookmarks for specific drawing location
and zoom level combinations, allowing you to quickly jump to noteworthy areas
of your model.
• User Defined Time Series Data—Import known values for flow, demand,
velocity, HGL, pressure, and other attributes into your WaterCAD graphs, then
compare them to the calculated results.
• Hotlinked FlexTables—Zoom to any element within a FlexTable with two clicks.
• Zoom to Selection—No more searching for that one elusive grip in a large
network. Zoom to the currently selected element or group of elements with a
right-click command.
• Extended QuickEdit Functionality—User data extensions are now available to
view and edit in the QuickEdit Window.
