I need help in this points a,b,c,d

a- I decided to make a wireless controlling on the robot instead of cable

b- what is the best of 2 option
x or y
x- put plc on the robot base and make wireless scada control from pc to plc
y- put plc in fixed place and connecting it to computer and buy wireless sensors

In option (x) I have to make the battery of the plc
Im inclined to (x) but what type of plc that do that…? and
does this one good for this project

( c- the vertical arm… what I make it ( motorized or mechanical system

d - the ultrasonic sensor ( analog signal ) how I will deal with it through scada system for example if ultrasonic give signal that something is far from it 1m I want the arm move
